Urban Form

Purpose

For the purpose of this knowledge builder ‘urban form’ is taken to include not only the two dimensional extent of cities, towns and urban areas generally but also, to a degree, the image of the city in three dimensions and the pattern and variation of intensity of activities within urban areas.
