Sustainable Drainage Systems

Purpose

This module expands on the relationship between spatial planning and Sustainable Urban Drainage System (SUDS) in an effort to promote more sustainable approaches to the management of surface water run-off.

Benefits

Planning has an important role to play in minimising the negative impacts of the built environment on natural resources such as water.
