Planning Obligations
Purpose
This module is concerned with the scope and legal background to planning obligations though inevitably touches upon the uses to which they can be put including the different kinds of ‘planning gain’.

A knowledge builder focusing on Section 12 of the 1991 Planning and Compensation Act and Part 11 of the Planning Act 2008 further amendments to planning obligations which are being considered. Additionally a range of further reading and appropriate websites is provided for those who wish to become expert in the subject. Includes voluntary self assessment for recording continuous professional development (CPD).
