Local Agenda 21
Purpose
At the 1992 UN Conference on Environment and Development [UNCED] a number of major agreements were signed, including Agenda 21 – a document that sets out to guide governments on developing policies to achieve sustainable development. Local Agenda 21, which this knowledge builder considers, was developed as a specific set of actions for local governments
