Purpose
This module considers the main funding programmes/grant schemes for economic development provided by central government and associated agencies (not including local government or European funding).
Benefits
Economic development is crucial to the achievement of broad spatial planning objectives, and it would seem to be desirable for economic development policy to be integrated with that for spatial planning in order that outcomes in both contexts can be achieved.
