Environmental planning
Spatial planning decisions have fundamental implications for our environment. Bad decisions can threaten local amenity and biodiversity as well as cause pollution that potentially contributes to global environmental problems, such as climate change. Good decisions, however, have the ability to incorporate environmental protection, offer potential for enhancement and help to reduce our impact on vital natural resources and systems.
